Mombasa County Inspectorate Service Bill 2023
Our partnership with the County Government and support through REINVENT programme, we have Strengthened the capacity of the Mombasa Inspectorate to promote safer cities and public safety through capacity building, and coordination with the National Police Service and other stakeholders such as small-scale traders.
Our collaboration with Inspectorate Directorate seeks to enhance their service delivery to the people of Mombasa putting into consideration the efforts on enhancing urban safety and security, while preserving and respecting human rights
HURIA is keep in supporting the Review and Re-drafting of the Mombasa Inspectorate Service Bill 2023 that will address key areas and issues on safety and security, promotion and respect for human rights as well as, duties and responsibilities imposed upon the inspectorate including, fines and offences. The Draft Bill 2023 Bill is a game changer and once passed into Law it will contribute to the improvement of service delivery and promotion and protection of human rights by Inspectorate officers.
