HURIA signed novel framework of partnership with the Kwale County Assembly  to enhance Inclusive Governance and Accountability in Kwale County. The signing ceremony was hosted by the Assembly Speaker alongside the House Leadership Committee and senior technical staff.

Through the partnership, we will seek to enhance the oversight capacity and effectiveness of MCAs and technical staff as well as Accelerate the Legislative Drafting of key bills promoting Human Rights and social justice, promote civic agency and interactive relations between the public and Members of the County Assembly.

Our model of partnership helps us leverage finances, expertise, management, ideas, and leadership available across the parties. Through these partnerships, we are able to navigate unnecessary red tapes and enjoy more influence among policymakers and policy processes.

Among our partnership commitments shall be the support of “Bunge Mashinani” for the 3rd County Assembly through the partial support of the Embassy of Netherlands, UNDP Kenya though Amkeni Program
